Together We Win Family-Friendly Workplaces and Paid Family Leave for All

Thank you to everyone who came to the California Work & Family Coalition Annual Statewide Meeting. It was an inspiring day of learning, connecting, and planning to win family friendly workplaces and Paid Family Leave for all.

Together we are building a movement to win the right to care for ourselves and each other and we need your help to win. Please give an end-of-the year donation to the California Work & Family Coalition. Your donation of $25, $50, $100 or more will go a long way toward bringing together people and diverse organizations to pass and implement the laws we need to ensure everyone has the right to care for themselves and their families.

Thanks to all of you, we grew a lot in 2018!

Some highlights include collaborating with bill sponsors, the California Breastfeeding Coalition and Legal Aid at Work on a cutting-edge lactation bill SB 937 (Wiener), holding 3 ZERO WEEKS screenings and partnering with BreastfeedLA in their work raising awareness about the need to fight inequities for new moms in LA.  We also started a new partnership with the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, strengthened our collaboration with the EDD on Paid Family Leave outreach and education, and launched a research project and report on California caregivers and Paid Family Leave with Human Impact Partners.  We also connected to caregiver groups working across the state and look forward to making strides together in 2019.

We hope that everyone will get some time to rest and rejuvenate over the holidays.  Looking forward to collaborating and coalition building in 2019!
