St. John's Well Child and Family Center invites you to join them on January 16th for the St. John’s float to kick off the Save Obamacare campaign at the 32nd Annual Kingdom Day Parade. The President-Elect and members of Congress are threatening to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and we must unite in order to defend the existing health care system and not move backwards in our efforts to fight for our collective Right to Health.
The MLK Parade is broadcast live at 11am and we will be gathering from before 9 am at 808 West 58th Street to transport the people that will start lining up early to join the float during the parade and others will be able to participate along the route and possibly in the stands. The goal is to have 300 participants join our efforts to Save Obamacare.
If you are interested in joining, please contact Miguel Paredes, Director of Community Organizing at St. John's, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
