CAWFC to Take Part in Evidence for Change Fellowship with Stanford Impact Labs

The California Work & Family Coalition is thrilled to announce that we are part of the first cohort of Stanford University’s Impact Labs Evidence for Change fellowship program. As part of this program, the Coalition, along with 7 other California organizations, will get financial and technical support to greatly increase our ability to collect and use data in ways that enhance our collective impact on the issues we work on. We are excited to build the use of data and evidence into our paid leave expansion work in California and as part of a national network of states looking to someday win and implement an inclusive federal paid leave law.

Earlier this month, Coalition director, Jenya Cassidy, Education and Outreach Organizer, Natasha Castro, and Communications Manager, Jarod Caceres, joined organizers and leaders from diverse organizations across the state in a three-day workshop at Stanford to begin crafting our 10 month plan to incorporate data collection into our work in impactful ways. See here for a program overview and a list of the organizations we’re joining in this process.
